Feeling Grateful

No funny business today internet weirdos. Today we are going to talk about some real life stuff, such as feeling grateful.

Have you ever seen someone else getting everything you have ever hoped and dreamed of getting? Yeah, that is called envy and jealousy. It is NOT a pretty thing and makes you look like an ugly green person. It also keeps you from remembering everything else you have in this world. Thus, making you ungrateful.

Everyone does it.

Something about human nature makes us want what we can’t have right now. It blinds us to what we have right here and now and what we should really be GRATEFUL for.

We should always remember to be thankful for the things we have and not focus on the things that we don’t have.

The people who are in their twenties now and are coming into adulthood are all so ungrateful. They think they deserve to have stuff that they haven’t even worked for. Why? Because your momma told you that you were a superstar when you were little?

We have to WORK for the things we want.

The best thing about working for what I want in life is that it feels good to say, “I DID THIS.” And not, “Momma and Daddy helped me get here and pay for this, and this, and this, this, this, this, this, oh and this.” On and on and on and on… You get the idea.

I wanna be able to say that I EARNED what I have, don’t you?

Therefore, I am grateful for what I have because I EARNED it. Not, my mommy and daddy helped me get here in life and IDK how to live without their help.

Grow up.

Be grateful for what you have. That also includes the things you didn’t work for. You can change that though. Get up off your butt, get a job, and make some goals for your life. Don’t expect freakin handouts from the world. IT owes you NOTHING. YOU owe the world everything that you have.

Little side note here. Even if you are not where you want to be in life make sure you put a smile on your ungrateful face and be nice to people. Nothing is worse than a little brat who has had their whole life handed to them, and then acting like they’re better than everyone else. Thank you cashiers and waiters. They are working for what they want in life. Appreciate others.

Be happy but don’t expect others to make you happy. That’s your job.

If you can’t be grateful about something then get a dog and learn to be grateful. We could learn so much from dogs.

If you are feeling ungrateful today then get a pen and paper and make a list of all the things you have to be grateful for. You’ll feel better when you are done.

Have a fantastic Thursday people! Stay weird.
